Beautiful Horse Lake has much to offer visitors. Near Horse Lake you come across the Kelly Trail which is a great hiking trail, and dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Motel Ely. At Horse Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 10's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Horse Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Horse Lake is great enough

you can go for a hike along the Crooked Lake Trail. The Stuart Portage is a nice hiking trail near Horse Lake; Super 8 Motel - Ely is a great place to get some rest.
And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do in close
proximity to Horse Lake. If you came to camp Canoe Country Outfitters is a good site to do that, obviously you could also explore Maingan Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
