It's always fun to stop by Hobson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hobson Lake is not the only place close by, Rock Lake is a close by lake, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Stingy Lake Trail. High temperatures at Hobson Lake through the summer are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Hobson Lake.

Hobson Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Hobson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pine Beach Resort RV Park, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Snake Trail.

There is plenty to do at the resort too. Swan Lake is known for its water clarity throughout the summer. Fishing is almost always good with a healthy supply of sunfish, crappies, northern and walleyes. Largemouth bass are definitely the most sought after fish the past few years with most of them released again after they are weighed and their picture is taken for our ''fishing report'' board. Our swimming area is safely marked off with no dangerous drop offs. We have plenty of sand for sunbathing and sandcastle building.
When you're not in or on the water you can play volleyball, badminton, ''fun'' frisbee golf, basketball, pitch horseshoes or play bocce ball. All re... |
