This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby hotel is Super 8 Hibbing, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Rat Lake. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sturgeon River, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Snake Trail.
For the period of the summer months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Hobson Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's.

| | Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 10's while Hobson Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Little Fork River; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Stingy Lake Trail. Hobson Lake is located in the Mesabi Range.

still looking for more outdoors enjoyable stuff just keep reading. This is a good region for folks who like lakes. Rock Lake is a lake around here, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Link Lake Trail.

We're only 6 miles from Fergus Falls. As the largest city in west-central MN (population 13,000) it offers plenty of restaurants, shopping, a very fine historical museum, a Prairie Wetlands Learning Center and more. Pebble Lake Golf Course, a challenging 18 hole course, is 5 miles away.
