From a rain point of view Hinz Lake is a rather normal spot; June       is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You'll come across a pretty lake called Quinn Lake near Hinz Lake, and Hinz Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, AJ Acres Campground is a splendid local campground. Summertime highs at Hinz Lake generally tend to be in the 80's, and the night is quite colder of course, generally in the 50's.
