     If you need a place to stay Lodge At Giants Ridge is a fine choice; you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Giants Ridge. Through the summer at Hay Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's, and nighttime lows in the-20's for Hay Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Duluth here at Hay Lake. There's so much  
   to do here at Hay Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hoodoo Point Campground is a brilliant spot for that. A delightful nearby hotel is Americinn - Mt Iron, Mn, and Hay Lake is right by the Taconite Trail.
No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Hay Lake. Looking for something close to Hay Lake? Sabin Lake is in close proximity; you're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Wynne Lake is one of those close by. The Canfield Portage
 
               offers hiking at its best, and Hay Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Fisherman's Point Campground is a wonderful local campground.
