Hay Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. During the warm days of summer highs here at Hay Lake reach the 70's, and the overnight is a tad cooler of course, generally in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Hay Lake.       Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hay Lake; Headboom Logging Trail is a fine local trail, and Savanna Portage State Park is a delightful local campground.
