After a long day outdoors Sheraton Duluth Hotel is a great site to spend a night or two, and a quick trip to East Branch Chester Creek is certainly a great idea. This lake is so wonderful. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Lester River. Lakes? Sure, Twin Lakes is in the neighborhood. Why not camp at Fond du Lac Campground and Boat Landing since you're here at Hartley Pond, and Hartley Pond Dam is

Hartley Pond gets a typical amount of annual rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Spirit Mountain, and not far from Hartley Pond you'll discover Mud Lake which is a charming lake. Lakehead Boat Basin is a tremendous local campground, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Enger Golf Course.
