If you are in St. Louis county it's always a good idea to stop by Hartley Pond. Hartley Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; during June this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. At Hartley Pond through the summer months highs are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. | | the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Downtown Motel is a great spot to spend a night or two. Lakes are great; Mud Lake is a lake that's next to Hartley Pond.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Hartley Pond. A fine close by hotel is Sheraton Duluth Hotel. There's so much to do here at Hartley Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lakehead Boat Basin is a brilliant location | |

for that. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Enger Golf Course; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Spirit Mountain.
There are some nice whitewater spots on Lester River; if you
come at the right time of year, Amity Creek offers some splendid whitewater. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Twin Lakes, and why not have a look at close by East Branch Chester Creek since
you're here at Hartley Pond. Very great water scenery is available at Hartley Pond Dam near Hartley Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hartley Pond has to offer, you can camp at Fond du Lac Campground and Boat Landing.
