This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Middle Pigeon River Campground while you're here at Hale Lake, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Simpson Creek Trail System. Hale Lake gets a typical amount of rain; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is no location       for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Pigeon Dam Lake is worth visiting if you're here, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the South Highbanks Trail System. West Seelye Campground is a good local campground, and Trappers Landing Lodge is a glorious spot to get some rest. High temperatures at Hale Lake all through the warm months are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. All through                  the winter highs are in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Hale Lake are in the-10's.
