Lakes? Sure, Pigeon Dam Lake is close by, and why not a little side trip to Farley Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Middle Pigeon River Campground while you're here at Hale Lake, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Simpson Creek Trail System. Hale Lake gets a typical amount of rain; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is no location
