Gunny Sack Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Jko Campground is a tremendous local campground, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Skeeter Lake Trail System. Gunny Sack Lake gets a typical amount of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. | | stop by, and get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Big Fork. All through the summer months, highs usually are in the 70's at Gunny Sack Lake while night lows are usually in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Gunny Sack Lake are in the-20's.

We're only 6 miles from Fergus Falls. As the largest city in west-central MN (population 13,000) it offers plenty of restaurants, shopping, a very fine historical museum, a Prairie Wetlands Learning Center and more. Pebble Lake Golf Course, a challenging 18 hole course, is 5 miles away.
