Do go to Whispering Lake close to Gun Lake, it's a gorgeous lake; Ruttgers Bay Lake Lodge is a tremendous location to get some rest. For the period of the days of summer at Gun Lake highs are regularly in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 10's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Gun       Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Buck's Resort and Taxidermy is a tremendous site to do that, and since you're here, you could also have a look at wonderful French Lake. Gun Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So much fun stuff near Gun Lake, completely tremendous. A trip to Gun Point right next door to Gun Lake is always                  a delightful idea.
