some time to visit Friedrich Point in the neighborhood of Grotes Pond if you have a chance, and a fine close by hotel is Days Inn Red Wing. Grotes Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Hide-a-way Campground Lounge is a splendid local campground; you'll stumble on a stunning lake called Dead Slough Lake.
