In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always       go whitewater paddling on Lower Tamarack River, and going for a hike along the Markville Snowmobile Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. At Greigs Lake all through the summer months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. During the winter the highs are commonly in the 10's while Greigs Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's. Greigs Lake is a good place of common                  rain; through June this area sees the most rain while February is regularly the driest month. If you came to camp Sioux Portage Campground is a great place to do that, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
