Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Apple River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Green Lake       has to offer, you can camp at River Bend Mobile Home Park. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, St. Croix River offers some tremendous whitewater, and the skiing at Wild Mountain is glorious. Through the summer here at Green Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 10's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime                  for Green Lake tend to be in the-10's. Saint Croix National Scenic River is one of the destinations in close proximity to Green Lake that are perfect to go to, and Green Lake is right by the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail. Having a fine time at Green Lake is simple. A round of golf at nearby Chisago Lakes Golf Course is a fine way to kill some time. There's so much to do here at Green Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Blue waters Leisure Park is a delightful location for that. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Lake Ellen close to Green Lake is a glorious place to go to, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Trollhaugen.
