If you came for an overnight stay KOA Kampgrounds is a glorious place to camp; a perfect close by hotel is Best Western Bemidji Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Mud River is a glorious local stream; camping is available at Hamilton's Fox Lake Campground. At Green Lake you don’t see much rain; through July this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place.       Why not stop at Mud River Dam while you're here; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Buena Vista while you're here. Lakes? Sure, Bond Lake is in close proximity; lots of folks from Bemidji come here. Summertime highs at Green Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Green Lake. Have a brilliant hiking adventure                  along the Thorhult Waskish Trail.
