Do go to Rausch Lake in the vicinity of Grand Lake, it's a lovely lake, and a golf course nearby is Kimball Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. A swamp like Marty Lake close to Grand Lake has lots of out of the ordinary things to see, and dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn St. Cloud. If you want a perfect time in the       great outdoors, just come on down to Grand Lake. Don't forget to take a good little trip to Mill Creek, and Super 8 St. Joseph/St. Cloud Area is a good place to get some rest. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mississippi River; there's some attention-grabbing stuff to observe at Mill Creek Dam next to Grand Lake. Throughout the warm days of summer at Grand Lake highs are usually in the 80's. When the night sets                  in temperatures sink down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Grand Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Powder Ridge are so inviting nobody can resist; you'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Mud Lake. The amount of rain that falls at Grand Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture.
