Gorman Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. High temperatures at Gorman Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's with temperatures at Gorman Lake dipping down into the-20's through winter nights. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Big Fork, and getting to Johnson

Gorman Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, North Star Campground is a great local campground, and magnificent hiking is available along the Cutfoot Sioux Trail.
