This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Suomi Hills Trail System. There's so much to do here at Gorman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, North Star Campground is a perfect place for that. From a rain point of view Gorman Lake is a quite common location; most of the rain falls all through July, and the driest of the months       is February. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Gorman Lake has to offer, you can camp at Spider Shores Resort, and glide down the rapids of Big Fork in a kayak. And that's not all you can do here at Gorman Lake. Budget Host Inn Grand Rapids is a wonderful site to get some rest. Hiking along the Cutfoot Sioux Trail is glorious fun, and do pop by McDonald Lake, it's a striking lake. Through the months of summer at Gorman Lake highs are frequently                  in the 70's.
