At Goose Lake you always meet someone from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, and if you have time, Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is a national park worth checking out. At Goose Lake during the summertime highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's while Goose Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the-10's.
