After a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Red Wing, MN is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Welch Village. If only every location       had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great globe it would be. If you're dropping by Goose Lake from Red Wing, you won't be the only one; camping is available at Mr Sippi Yacht Brokerage Bar. There are swamps here too; Buffalo Slough is around here, and get covered with water paddling on Vermilion River. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Hidden Valley Campgrounds if you're here at Goose Lake; why not head up to Afton Alps and strap some                  skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the summertime months at Goose Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Goose Lake.
