After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Pine River is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and you'll find a pretty lake called Barnum Lake. Going for a hike on the Lake Erin Trail is always a nice adventure; Deer Acres is a brilliant local campground. At Goose Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come       with highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Goose Lake sink into the-10's. An average amount of precipitation falls at Goose Lake; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Trappers Landing Lodge, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the North Country Trail. Do take a look at Man Lake near                  Goose Lake, it's a wonderful lake, and Goose Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Austin's Swamp is a good place to camp nearby. Just can't get enough of Goose Lake.
