A visit to Goat Lake is always a good idea. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Taconite Trail, and there are some great whitewater spots on Little Fork River. The Mesabi Range scenery is always beautiful. You'll find a pretty lake called Lake Fourteen near Goat Lake, and Budget Host Virginia is a great place to get some rest.
All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Mesabi Range will keep you coming back over and over. Stay the night at Vermilion Motel

| | and RV Park, and there's whitewater on Sturgeon River for all you adrenaline people. Yeah, come up here to the Mesabi Range for a great time. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Eveleth Super 8 Motel is a great site to spend a night or two, and since you're here you can play some golf at Wolfridge Golf Course.

10's while the cold winter nights at Goat Lake are in the-10's. That right there is a lot already, but it keeps on going; Goat Lake has it all. There's so much to do here at Goat Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wakemup Bay Campground is a perfect place for that, and a quick trip to Watercress Creek is absolutely a great idea.
