There's so much to do here at Gneiss Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gunflint Pines is a glorious place for that, and a cool spot to pop by is Devils Elbow. The snow is tremendous at Lutsen, and Gneiss Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Baker Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
