Glenmore Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Sioux River Campground is a great local campground; if you need a spot to stay Grand Ely Lodge Resort and Conference Center is a good choice. Glenmore Lake gets a normal amount of rain; during June this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the       least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Soroll Lake near Glenmore Lake, it's a gorgeous lake, and you can go for a hike on the Stuart Portage. Just can't get enough of Glenmore Lake. Going for a hike on the Canfield Portage is always a glorious adventure. While you're here at Glenmore Lake, you could also visit pretty Western Lake, and Giants Ridge is a very popular ski area nearby. The warmest time of the year at Glenmore Lake                  comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
