Hyland Ski is a great site to do that; obviously Carver Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth visiting. At Gifford Lake all through the summer highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Gifford Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.       Mpls./St. Paul/Chaska Super 8 Motel is a magnificent site to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Gifford Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Jordan Koa Kampground is a wonderful place for that. Gifford Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. Gifford Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Will's Riverview RV Park is a good local campground;                  a golf course nearby is City of Chaska Golf Course. This place, Gifford Lake, it simply has so much outdoors exciting stuff. What would winter be without some skiing at Buck Hill; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Courthouse Lake.
