George Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Two Harbors, Mn. Lakes? Sure, Norton Lake is in the neighborhood. Summer at George Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. | | amount of yearly rainfall; during June this area sees the most rain while February is commonly the driest month. Go for a hike on the Kelly Trail. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. Not far from George Lake, you'll find Wilson Lake which is a scenic lake, and paddling on Stewart River is so much fun. Whitewater paddling is fine on Knife River, and camping is available at Indian Lake Campground. | |

Howell Creek is near George Lake and is always a diversion to explore, and a pleasant location to camp here at George Lake is Lake George Campground and Party. Going for a hike on the Seven Beaver Snowmobile Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and Larsmont Cottages is a great location to get some rest.
