Gem Lake is a nice lake to visit. Gem Lake is a place with many visitors from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington. Lakes are brilliant; Willow Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Gem Lake. But wait, there's more to do near Gem Lake. Gem Lake Hills Public Golf Course is a brilliant golf course close by. There's so much to do here at Gem Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Northernaire Motel is a pleasant spot for that. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Gem Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, St Paul East KOA is a brilliant local campground, and Americinn - White Bear Lake, Mn is a brilliant place to get some rest. Afton Alps is a perfect local ski area, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites St. Paul Ne (Vadnais Heights), is a great choice. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Gem Lake get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. | |

The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Gem Lake drop into the-10's. Gem Lake is a good location of normal rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain,
and the driest month of the year is February. Do pay a visit to Mississippi National River & Recreation Area while you're here at Gem Lake; not far from Gem Lake you'll hit upon Birch Lake which is a lovely lake.

Afton Alps
