There's so much to do here at Gadwall Lake that you need to camp here for a while, East Bearskin Campground is a brilliant place for that, and getting to Puff Creek from Gadwall       Lake is simple. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Gadwall Lake. This is a pleasant neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Pine Lake is a lake in the neighborhood; there's good hiking along the Lesser Cherry Portage. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Gadwall Lake,                  and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The Great Cherry Portage offers hiking at its best. From a rain point of view Gadwall Lake is a pretty common location; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful.
