Summertime highs at Gables Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Gables Lake dipping       down into the 0's during winter nights. A good close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Woodbury, Minnesota, and Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is a nice local destination. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Country Inn And Suites By Carlson, Cottage Grove is a delightful choice; lakes are such serene spots, why not stop by Powers Lake. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Gables                  Lake. If you came to camp St. Paul East RV Park is a perfect spot to do that; Prestweck Golf Club is a fine golf course close by. There are other places here than Gables Lake, for example Colby Lake. From a precipitation point of view Gables Lake is a pretty normal place; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most while February is mostly the driest month.
