Don't leave Frisk Lake without first going for a hike along the Honeymoon Trail, and a great place to camp here at Frisk Lake is Poplar River Campground. The yearly rainfall here at Frisk Lake is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Frisk Lake is pleasant       enough to spend more than a day at, Temperance River Campground is a pleasant local campground, and Pancake Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. All the outdoors cool stuff close to Frisk Lake will keep you coming back over and over. You can never get enough of the splendid skiing at Lutsen, and Americinn - Tofte, Mn is a great site to get some rest. You get a great view of Honeymoon Mountain from Frisk Lake, and a charming                  lake like Pancore Lake is a perfect site to stop by. After a long day outdoors Caribou Highlands Lodge is a great place to spend a night or two, and paddling on Temperance River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Rib Lake Trail. During the warm months here at Frisk Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's.
