The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Franklin Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Franklin Lake plunge into the-20's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Franklin Lake that       you need to camp here for a while, Thistledew Campground is a splendid place for that; the Wilson Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. There's fine hiking along the Holstrum Spur Trail, and while you're here, you could also stop by scenic Pocquette Lake. Franklin Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is commonly the driest month. Days Inn International Falls is a glorious place                  to get some rest, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Franklin Lake; Valley River Trail is a tremendous local trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area close to Franklin Lake has to offer.
