Why not take a refreshing hike along the Headboom Logging Trail, and if you need a site to stay Hibbing Park Hotel is a pleasant choice. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are fine; Floodwood Lake is a lake that's right next door to Floodwood Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Hibbing. Not far from Floodwood Lake, you'll find Lost Lake which is a scenic lake, and Floodwood Lake Dam is a beautiful location,

Camping at Swan Lake Campground is always a magnificent experience, and camping is available at Swan Lake Resort. At Floodwood Lake all through the summer months highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. There is plenty to do at the resort too. Swan Lake is known for its water clarity throughout the summer. Fishing is almost always good with a healthy supply of sunfish, crappies, northern and walleyes. Largemouth bass are definitely the most sought after fish the past few years with most of them released again after they are weighed and their picture is taken for our ''fishing report'' board. Our swimming area is safely marked off with no dangerous drop offs. We have plenty of sand for sunbathing and sandcastle building.
