An average amount of rain falls at Flint Lake; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. The Gneiss Trail is a great hiking trail in close proximity to Flint Lake, and do visit Jimmy Lake, it's a wonderful lake. Going for a hike on the Gneiss Lake Portage       is always a magnificent adventure, and you can run the rapids of Temperance River. Throughout the days of summer at Flint Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 10's; during the dark hours in the winter at Flint Lake temperatures fall to the-10's. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Flint Lake. Near Flint Lake you come across                  the Maraboeuf Lake Portage which is a fine hiking trail, and Eagle Ridge Resort at Lutsen Mountains is a great place to get some rest.
