If you need a place to stay Americas Best Value Inn is a great choice, and St. Croix River is a nice whitewater spot close by. The annual precipitation here at First Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is June; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake       is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby hotel is Americinn - Forest Lake, Mn, and not far from First Lake you'll come across Spider Lake which is a lovely lake. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at First Lake. While you're here at First Lake you can take a hike along the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Apple River. Whispering Bay Resort is a splendid                  campground nearby; everyone nearby loves skiing at Wild Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Second Lake is in the neighborhood. Through the summer months at First Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's.
