This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Ico Campground is a fine place to camp, and you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Giants Ridge. Fig Lake truly is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Camping is available at Eveleth Veteran's Park, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cloquet River. Fig       Lake is a location that is reasonably dried up frequently; all through June this area sees the most rain while February is generally the driest month.
