Go to Fawn Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. The Mesabi Range scenery is always beautiful. Man, is there a heap of fun stuff to do in the Mesabi Range. Fawn Lake is a great place to camp, Pfeifer Lake Campground is a great place. You just ought to have a thing about the Mesabi Range. Good hiking is available along the Taconite Trail; in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Vermilion River.

close by hotel is Budget Host Virginia; there's good hiking along the Canfield Portage. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great globe it would be. Stay the night at Sherwood Forest Campground, and after a long day outdoors Lodge At Giants Ridge is a great place to spend a night or two.
