Everybody close by loves skiing at Lutsen, and you can go for a hike on the Pine Portage. Summertime highs at Fawn Lake generally tend to be in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. but it continues; Fawn Lake has it all. Fawn Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Gunflint Pines is a good local campground; get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Temperance River.
This lake is so wonderful.
You can run the rapids of Poplar River next to Fawn Lake, and if you've had enough of Fawn Lake, Doe Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Rib Lake is in close proximity to Fawn Lake.
