So much fun stuff to do at Elk Lake, so little time. Throughout the summer months here at Elk Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 10's; during the dark hours in the winter at Elk Lake temperatures descend to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you're going       to Elk Lake from Fergus Falls, you won't be the only one; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Andes Tower Hill while you're here. Jenstad Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and if you're a golfer then a great close by course is Red Rock Golf Course. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Elk Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sundown Campground, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Super 8 Morris.
