Elbow Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Summer at Elbow Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 10's while Elbow Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the-10's. This lake       is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Link Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and if you come at the right time of year, Sturgeon River offers some perfect whitewater. Hiking along the Stingy Lake Trail is wonderful fun, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Little Fork River. Having a perfect time at Elbow Lake is easy. There's always Sturgeon Lake Dam to pop by close to Elbow Lake. There's so much to do here                  at Elbow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Beach Resort RV Park is a glorious place for that. Elbow Lake is located in the Mesabi Range. There are other sites here than Elbow Lake, for example Perch Lake; if you need a spot to stay Hibbing Super 8 Motel is a magnificent choice. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Mesabi Range. Take a hike on the Snake Trail, and if you came to camp C C Campground 717 is a glorious place to do that. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Mesabi Range.
