Elbow Lake is right by the Link Lake Trail, and why not camp at C C Campground 717 if you're here at Elbow Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Sturgeon River is a nice whitewater spot right next door to Elbow Lake, and the Stingy Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Fork River,       and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Hibbing is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. So many entertaining things in the vicinity of Elbow Lake, absolutely unbelievable. Lakes are delightful; Side Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Elbow Lake, and Hibbing Park Hotel is a tremendous place to get some rest. High temperatures at Elbow Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 70's; the nighttime is quite cooler of course, typically in the                  50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 10's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Elbow Lake tend to be in the-10's. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Mesabi Range. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes. Perch Lake is a lake close by, and there's glorious hiking along the Snake Trail. The amount of precipitation that falls at Elbow Lake is close to the national average; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. All year is a delightful time in the Mesabi Range if you fancy the outdoors.
