Why not stop by Lake Edith if you're passing through these parts. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Apple River; Comfort Inn Hudson is a perfect site to get some rest. If you come at the right time of year, Vermilion River offers some splendid whitewater, and the slopes of Welch Village are so inviting noone can resist. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Afton Alps, and Woodbury Koa Kampground

If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great world it would be. If you want to hit the beach, Browns Beach is in the neighborhood, and Bissels Mounds can be observed from Lake Edith. All through the summertime months at Lake Edith highs are mostly in the 80's. After a long day outdoors Royal Inn is a nice site to spend a night or two, and Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is a magnificent national park. Near
Lake Edith you come across a golf course called Stoneridge Golf Club; Lake Edith is a great spot to visit for more than one day, St. Paul East RV Park is a great spot to camp nearby. Lake Edith is a good spot of common precipitation; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February.
