White Oak Inn & Suites is a nice place to get some rest. You'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Ackerman Lakes near East Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Turtle Mound Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to East Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's while East Lake night low temperatures during the winter       are in the-10's. East Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; during June this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. If you need a spot to stay Gosh Dam Place is a delightful choice, and hiking is a popular thing to do around East Lake; Spur Lake Trail System is a great local trail. This lake is so wonderful. At East Lake Dam right next door to East Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and East Lake                  is a great spot to camp, Noma Lake Campground and Picnic Area is a great spot.
