A fine place to camp here at East Fox Lake is Highview Campgrounds, and enjoy a round of golf at Crosswoods Golf Course. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Pequot Lakes, Mn, and Black Point is nearby and always brilliant to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful.
You'll meet a lot of people from Brainerd here, and naturally, this is a good area for folks who like lakes,

But wait, there's more to do close to East Fox Lake. Daggett Creek is a charming stream that is worth stopping at, and in all probability you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, West Fox Lake is just a very short distance away.

sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. All through the summer at East Fox Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to East Fox Lake.

Mabel Lake Campground

...is is one of our favorite Minnesota campgrounds and we stay here several times each summer. We love that it is right on a lake and that many of the sites have their own little beach. The campground is quiet and the sites˙ are screened from one another for privacy. I hate to even post a review out of the fear that our favorite camping secret will become everyone's camping favorite. It is close enough to Longville˙ and Remer that you can run in for ice and supplies as needed. One small hint that I will pass on is that you might want to stop in Longville or Hackensack to buy your˙ firewood as the campground does not have any for sale.Mabel Lake campground is not on a campsite reservation system but we have never had a problem finding a site here. We discovered this campground as a result of finding one of the more popular Leech Lake campgrounds full. Once we found Mabel Lake, we never bothered with the other campgrounds in the area again. Mabel Lake is rustic so those seeking hook-ups, flush toilets, and running water best move on to the more crowded campgrounds on Leech Lake and leave ... |
