Lakes are great; Eagle Lake is a lake that's close to Eagle Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Monticello. The annual rainfall here at Eagle Lake is about average; most of the rain falls through August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Since you       might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Frederickson Slough, and Eagle Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Shady River Campgrounds is a nice local campground. Camping at Camp In The woods is always a glorious experience; next to Eagle Lake you hit upon a golf course called Monticello Country Club. During the days of summer at Eagle Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.                  Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 20's; night lows in the-10's for Eagle Lake. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great earth it would be.
