     A perfect nearby hotel is Garrison Inn and Suites, and there's good hiking along the Switzerland Trail. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Eagle Lake. A lake close by is Nokay Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hawthorne Dam is a location that is near Eagle Lake, and a round of golf at nearby The Lakes Golf Course is a glorious way to kill some time. The warmest time of the year at Eagle Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration  
   of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Eagle Lake descend into the-10's.
If you need a place to stay Ruttgers Bay Lake Lodge is a wonderful choice, and Camp Holiday is a delightful local campground. The amount of precipitation that falls at Eagle Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls during
