At Dunnigan Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's; the nighttime is rather cooler of course, generally in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Dunnigan Lake are in       the-10's. A perfect close by hotel is Budget Host Motel Ely, and a lovely lake like Slate Lake is a fine site to check out. While you're here at Dunnigan Lake you can take a hike along the Crooked Lake Trail, and paddling on Stony River is so much fun. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Dunnigan Lake; the month with most of the rain is June, and February on the other hand is the driest.
