Duck Lake is a good spot of typical rainfall; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Duck Lake while night lows are usually in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and night lows in the-20's for Duck Lake.       If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Duck Lake. If you came to camp Camp Du Nord is a great location to do that; hiking is a popular thing to do around Duck Lake; Crooked Lake Trail is a splendid local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Giants Ridge is a very popular ski area around here; dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Motel Ely. Go for a hike on the Stuart Portage, and after a long day outdoors Grand Ely Lodge                  Resort and Conference Center is a wonderful site to spend a night or two.
