There's just no way someone can get bored here at Duck Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Duck Lake; Canfield Portage is a good local trail, and Americinn - Mt Iron, Mn is a glorious spot to get some rest. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Duck Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 10's, and nighttime lows in the-20's       for Duck Lake. The Mesabi Range scenery is always beautiful. The annual rain here at Duck Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is mostly June, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Duck Lake is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Mc Kinley Park Campground is a pleasant spot to camp nearby; you can hit the slopes at Giants Ridge close by. Yeah, come up                  here to the Mesabi Range for a glorious time. Duck Lake is right by the Echo Trail, and Duck Lake is not the only location close by, Hay Lake is a close by lake.
