The beauty of Duck Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Taconite Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and if you came for an overnight stay Mc Kinley Park Campground is a pleasant place to camp. This spot, the Mesabi Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. Hiking along the Canfield Portage is delightful fun; if you need a place to stay Lodge At Giants Ridge is a magnificent choice.

Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Duck Lake. Summer night lows fall down to the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and night lows through the wintertime for Duck Lake tend to be in the-20's. rainfall; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
