From a rain point of view Duck Lake is a reasonably normal place; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Country Inn & Suites, Mankato - Hotel       and Conference Center is a glorious site to get some rest, unsurprisingly you could also have a look at Ballantyne Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. There are plenty of folks from Mankato-North Mankato here at Duck Lake, and Duck Lake is a good location to visit for more than one day, Sakatah Trail Campground is a good location to camp nearby. For the period of the days of summer at Duck Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's while night lows                  are frequently in the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Duck Lake.
