Drumbeater       Lake is frequently a relatively dried out site; through June this area sees the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There are nice sites to discover along the South Highbanks Trail System; if you need a site to stay Trappers Landing Lodge is a good choice. Go for a hike on the North Country Trail, and Six Mile Campground is a tremendous local campground. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable                  things, what a great world it would be. Drumbeater Lake is not the only location close by, Blacksmith Lake is a close by lake; the nice people of Brainerd like to hang out close by.
