There's so much to do here at Drain Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hickory Lake Campground is a magnificent place for that. Drain Lake is a good site of common rain; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Red Roof Inn Brainerd,       MN is a good spot to spend a night or two, unsurprisingly you could also check out Thornton Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Summertime highs at Drain Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are usually in the 20's; night lows through the winter for Drain Lake tend to be in the-10's. What a place this is for outdoors people.
