What a nice lake Douglas Tailings Basin is. During the summer at Douglas Tailings Basin highs are regularly in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Douglas Tailings Basin. Hibbing Park Hotel is a glorious location to get some rest, and a lake close by is Longyear Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hibbing Super 8 Motel is a tremendous site to spend a night

There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Douglas Tailings Basin. Camping at Forest Heights RV and Mobile Park is always a great experience, and paddling on Sturgeon River is so much fun. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Mesabi Range. kayak. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Mesabi Range. Douglas Tailings Dike is a lovely spot next to Douglas Tailings Basin, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Douglas Tailings Basin; Snake Trail is
a glorious local trail.
This lake is so wonderful. The Link Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you're a golfer then a splendid close by course is Mesaba Country Club. An average amount of rain falls at Douglas Tailings
Basin; June is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
