What a nice lake Dot Lake is. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Dot Lake is peerless! Camping at East Bearskin Campground is always a perfect experience; Dot Lake is right by the Long Portage. Going for a hike along the South Lake Portage will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; some close by water includes Poplar Creek. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place to camp here at Dot Lake is Gateway-hungry Jack Lodge, and Devil Track River is a great whitewater spot close by. Dot Lake gets a normal amount of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February.
Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Dot Lake, and the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the | |

10's, and nighttime lows at Dot Lake all through the wintertime regularly sink into the-10's. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Grand Marais is a great choice, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet,
