All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Dora Lake temperatures drop       to the-10's. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Dora Lake has to offer, you can camp at Noma Lake Campground and Picnic Area; Dora Lake is not the only location close by, Shogrean Dam Impoundment is a close by lake. Dora Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's so much to do here at Dora Lake that you need                  to camp here for a while, East Seelye Campground is a great site for that, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Cutfoot Sioux National Recreation Trail. Take a side trip to Bowstring River; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Lost '40' Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
